The Practice offers certain clinics and services, which may be run by a GP, Practice Nurse, Health Visitor or other appropriate professional.  Most are run on a recall basis but anyone with a chronic condition can request an appointment.

  • Consultations are available on request to patients over 75 years or those not seen in the last 3 years.

Minor Injuries Service

We are unable to offer a minor injuries service. Patients should attend the Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) at St Andrews Community Hospital or Accident and Emergency services at either Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy or Ninewells Hospital, Dundee. The MIU is open Mondays to Fridays from 8am till 6pm.  Suspected fractures should only attend St Andrews till 3.30pm (no x-ray facilities after 4pm) - otherwise attend one of the A & E units.

Chiropody & Physiotherapy

Service available in the Health Centre. Contact GP for referral.

Midwives attend Skeith Health Centre every Thursday morning. If you have a positive pregnancy test just phone the Midwifery Team to make an appointment.

Laboratory Specimens

These should be handed into the surgery in Anstruther before 12 noon appropriately labelled to allow collection of specimens by laboratory transport.  Please do not hand in samples unless they have been requested by a GP.  Sample pots may be obtained from Crail Chemist also but should be handed in to the Health Centre.
